Bring Him to Me
Description: Peter and the disciples understood Jesus was the Messiah, but their understanding of Jesus left no room for the cross, no room for suffering. A saving Christ they could wrap their minds around, a conquering Christ and delivering Christ that’s something they could accept but a crucified Christ – there was no room for that. Jesus is going to stretch the disciples. He is going to draw them into a deeper understanding of who He is and a deeper understanding of who they are.
