Threats and Blessings
Description: It is interesting that the Pharisees and the Sadducees believed in entirely different things, but they come together when they feel threatened! The healing of the lame man threatens all they believe in and even their positions in society. They, in turn, threaten Peter and John to never speak of or teach in the name of Jesus!
